Services
Classification, marshalling and shunting services in the Port of Duisburg (incl, logport) are provided by duisport rail, but Duisburg Ruhrort Hafen is served by DB Cargo AG.
Apart from classification, further services are available such as incoming and outgoing freight car weighing. Rail weighbridges are installed at the Duisburg Ruhrort Hafen and the Duisburg Hochfeld Nord rail cargo terminals.
Rail loading points can be served upon request. Freight cars can also be parked in the port. Locomotive parking areas have been arranged at the port end of the interface between the DB Cargo system and the Port railroad system. Information on the availability of parking area in the locomotive building and terms and conditions can be obtained from duisport rail.
